Summer had a fun Halloween party on Friday in her class. In the pictures Summer is the black cat in the back! There are a couple room moms that came to help out and do some activities with the kids. There's one picture of our pumpkins we carved Saturday night at our private Halloween party at home! We drank homemade Italian sodas while we carved and watched a movie. We watched "Inkheart" and really recommend it - it was a fun, exciting movie. And, unlike some movies we've had to turn off lately, it actually lived up to being rated PG! Although Halloween was fun, we're excited to be one holiday closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas. And to prove it, somehow a Jenny Oaks-Baker's Christmas CD ended up in our CD player this week...

College Gameday visit
Amidst the tragic loss to the Horned Frogs, we still found a way to enjoy our weekend! Scott and Natalie and the boys were in town for Scott's family reunion. We also had a fun get-together at Lisa's apartment after the game with them. The other highlight of the weekend was David getting to hang-out at the ESPN College Gameday show on Saturday. He and Jon Hughes landed a decent spot in the crowd to see the show live. It is great publicity for BYU - too bad we couldn't finish the day with a win. There may still be redemption in the Utah game.
Fall break in Eagle
Summer had a two-day fall break at her school, so we decided to take a weekend trip to Idaho. We spent most of our time in Eagle and kept busy trying to keep up with the Staley kids' activities. We saw part of Austin's football game and Sierra's soccer game and then had a birthday dinner for Grandmere Valynn! Great weekend.
